This is now my very favourite colour film! Not too grainy overall and converts to black and white very well. Got a few errant red 'blobs' and streaks on certain frames, but the camera is one I use a lot (Nikon F801) and has been recently serviced. I will purchase this film again soon.
Really happy with the results of the film. I havent shot a roll of cinestill so i can't accurately compare. It does have bit of grain to it if you're into that. I have posted unedited examples but grain can be lessened in lightroom. Just remember to use a filter, over expose, and/or rebalance shots taken in daylight to avoid blue tones.
Great film for anything. I snap a range of things in low light conditions and I've found Candido 800 to be the most versatile, especially for it's price.
It doesn't mind being pushed or pulled so I can load this in and use it as a 1600, 800 or 400 speed with pretty consistent results.
There's a bit more noticeable grain than something like cine still but that often adds more to the shot.
The colours are great too.
I bought this film specifically to use at the NFL game at Tottenham back in October. It was my first time shooting a sport event and first time shooting in a stadium, so I wanted something that would give me the versatility to have high enough shutter speed to minimise motion blur. I love how the photos came out, and definitely recommend this film! I love how dark and rich the blues and oranges came out especially. I've already got my next roll ready to use!
Sharp and versatile. Good value film!
