HARMAN Phoenix 125 35mm Colour Film
HARMAN Phoenix 125 keeps the bold personality of the original Phoenix 200, but now comes with a box speed of ISO 125, reflecting how many photographers preferred to shoot it.
Whether you loved the original Phoenix or found it a little wild, this film proudly keeps the characteristics that made it stand out. Expect high contrast, visible grain, punchy colours and unmistakably analogue results that look unlike anything produced by a conventional colour film.
Phoenix 125 performs best in good, consistent light. When shooting on bright days or directly towards a light source, you may also see some lovely halation around the highlights.
Colour reproduction can vary depending on the scanner and settings used, which is all part of the Phoenix experience. Accurate exposure will help you achieve the best results, so we recommend metering for the midtones to retain as much shadow and highlight detail as possible. Phoenix is not particularly forgiving of underexposure or overexposure.
Part of the fun of film photography is never knowing exactly what you are going to get. From its unusual colour palette to occasional coating anomalies, Phoenix 125 embraces the unexpected. Do not expect perfect or predictable results. Load it, shoot it and enjoy the experience.
