Paterson Super System 4 Universal Film Developing Tank - 2 Reel

Thinking about developing your own film at home? The Paterson Super System 4 Universal Tank is the essential bit of darkroom kit that keeps the process simple, tidy and light-tight.

The tank can process 2 rolls of 35mm film at the same time or 1 roll of 120, 126, 127 or 220 film. It comes complete with 2 adjustable Paterson Auto Load Reels.

Once the film has been loaded in complete darkness, the funnel locks securely into place and makes the tank light-tight. You can then add and remove your developer, stop bath, fixer and wash water safely in normal room light.

The wide, one-piece lid and funnel make the tank quick to fill and empty, while the flexible watertight cap helps prevent leaks during inversion agitation. You can also use the supplied agitation rod if you prefer rotary agitation.

The Auto Load Reels feature Paterson’s twin-ball ratchet system. Simply feed the start of the film into the reel and move the two sides backwards and forwards to load it smoothly.

The tank requires approximately 500ml of chemistry when processing two rolls of 35mm film or one roll of medium format film.

Please Note

Film must be loaded onto the reels and placed inside the tank in complete darkness or inside a suitable changing bag. Once the funnel has been securely fitted, the remaining processing stages can be completed in normal room light.
