A Barcelona based Dubblefilm announced a new black and white film called “Glitch” which replicates distortion and static of VHS tapes in the era of Analog television.

No fine grain here… just pure VHS madness

With Glitch, photographers can now capture the same visual distortion and static seen on old VHS tapes and television sets. The effect is a unique look that is sure to be popular with photographers and videographers who like to experiment with something different.

Glitch has a fun-to-animate character, giving shooters many creative possibilities, specially fans of 90’s lo-fi effects.
Let’s be honest, the film is not for everyone. And if you are looking for more traditional film this is ain’t it. However for the adventurous types this film might offer some unique effects and look.

The Glitch is an ISO 200 film that will work with regular B&W chemistry.
