  4. We process and scan your film and e-mail your photos as well as post your negatives back to you
  5. Enjoy!

We currently don't process ECN-2 films such as Vision 3 stocks with rem-jet on and E6 films such as Kodak E100, Fujifilm Velvia, etc.

Once you have placed your order you will receive an email with a link to create your FREE TRACKED postage label. All you have to do is to print it out, slap it on your parcel and take it to the post office.

Please include your order number when posting to us.

Please note - The “No Scans / Develop Only” service is just for processing of film into negatives. No scans will be made. This a perfect economic option for customers who prefer to do the own scanning at home.

Your 35mm negatives will be cut into strips of 6 and put into archival sleeves.

If you require uncut negatives just let us know.  If you don't want your negatives back, also let us know.

Scanning options 35mm (half frame will produce half of the resolution):

Service Resolution in Pixels Size MB USE
Low Resolution JPEG 1512 x 1002 pixels Approx 2mb Quite small for todays standards. For preview only and small size use on the Web / instagram. 6x4 prints with no cropping. We would recommend to start with medium option.
Medium  Resolution JPEG 3024x2005 pixels Approx 7mb Best for Social Media and sharing. All you Instagrams, Tik Toks and regular emails and WhatsApps. Prints can go up to A4.
High  Resolution JPEG 6048 x 4011 pixels Approx 26mb Great for archiving, cropping & printing larger print sizes over A4.
TIFF (8 bit) 6048 x 4011 pixels Approx 72mb For people who do a lot of editing work on their  negatives. The files will have more latitude for editing and colour grading. Best for critical work
TIFF (16 bit) 6048 x 4011 pixels Approx 145mb Even larger files to work with. 145mb is no joke, the roll film at these file sizes will be over 5GB. But it is all worth it, as you know, we just can’t get enough quality out if our negatives as we worked hard for it. Best for critical work. 16bit per colour channel. Why do we do this? Because we can!

How it works:

1. Choose the processing options you need above and add it to the cart. At checkout you will be able to leave any notes you may think will help us with your order.

5. Once we receive your films, we will let you know that we have them via email. So please make sure you add your email at the check out.

6. Your colour film will take 2 to 5 working days to process, your scans will be emailed to you. You will also receive a dispatch notifications for your negatives. Since Black & White film is hand processed please allow 5-10 working days for turn around.

Great & fast service!

Great service overall! From buying the film developing, posting the film via the RM self service and getting the results back, digital and negatives - I can only say that it has been a breeze to navigate and the development has also been great. Will use again in the future!

Old Film processing

Great service and quick, I found some rolls of used film at the back of a cupboard of mine, sent them off and the memories were sent back! I chose the develop only as I it was the cheapest option for the old film. I have bought film from these guy’s and love the variety and service they provide.
