The new PORTRA 400 Film is the ideal choice for portrait and fashion photography, as well as for nature, travel and outdoor photography, where the action is fast or the lighting can't be controlled.

Kodak Portra Pro 400 135 36 Exp - 1 Roll

This is 1x 36 exposure roll of 35mm Kodak Professional Portra 400 color negative film. It is a high-speed film that can be used in a wide variety of venues and for a wide variety of purposes. It delivers exceptional color saturation and features fine grain and a high degree of sharpness. With this updated version of Portra, highlight and shadow detail are no problem and, as a result of its excellent T-Grain structure, making large prints is not a problem. For the portrait or fashion photographer, this is a choice film that produces wonderful and pleasing skin tones. If you prefer landscapes or action shooting, this film works well even when your ambient light level is reduced. In addition, the 400 speed offers you more control of your depth of field. The advanced technology that goes into this film includes improvement in the cyan and magenta layers as well as an enhanced T-Grain emulsion.

First time shooting film for many years, happy with the results

Because I'm old, I grew up shooting film, but moved on to digital years ago. Recently my wife bought a cheap rangefinder, and after a few weeks of it sitting being ignored I decided to give it a whirl. I ordered some Portra 400 as reviews had mentioned the colours would be fairly muted which appealed to my style. Having now had the roll developed, I'm pleased with the results. Some of the shots are rubbish because I didn't really know how the camera worked, but I've got some decent street scenes with exactly the look I was hoping for.
