Ferrania introduces a new B&W Film - P33
Following the release of the Orto B&W film by Film Ferrania last year, the Italian film producer is introducing the new P33 Film – “a breakthrough in black and white photography blending innovation and tradition”.
The P33 has a sensitivity of 160 ASA and it aims to defeat the challenges faced with its predecessor. Compared to the P30, it has a simpler development process, which offers a more versatile experience resulting in the characteristic fine grain and defined contrast.
With its versatility, this new panchromatic film wants to reach not only professionals, but also the less experienced. The P33 Film, which offers 36 exposures per roll, demonstrates the continuous growth of Film Ferrania in the field of modern film.
According to CEO Silvio Pignone, “P33 is the culmination of our R&D efforts, merging analog tradition with technological innovation. We've meticulously re-engineered authentic emulsion recipes, focusing on enhancing versatility with a higher ISO and simplifying the development process.”
This new 35mm film is based on a post-war cinema stock by the Italian company and was created in the reinvented facility in Cairo Montenotte, Italy.
We are looking forward to stocking the new P33 Film in our website in the near future.
