Fujifilm SUPERIA X-TRA 400 Discontinued

A few weeks ago, Fujifilm Japan announced the suspension of production of Fujifilm Superia X-Tra 400 film.

The announcement was made through its news section, for more info: https://www.fujifilm.com/ffis/ja/news/157

This is their statement: "Sales of "Fujicolor SUPERIA X-TRA 400" will end as soon as the stock runs out. In conjunction with this, we will be introducing ``FUJIFILM 400'', a color negative film sold overseas, into Japan from today."

We know that Fujifilm 400 is made in the US and it's made by Kodak.

The article continues, ""FUJIFILM 400" is a color negative film that maintains the high quality that we have cultivated over the years and achieves natural colors and smooth gradation."

These are sad news indeed, but it does not surprise us as Fujifilm announced around this time last year a limited production of this film stock in Japan.

The last shipment of Fujifilm Superia 400 we received was in early March 2023.
