ORWO is working on the NEW Colour Film NC200 to be released in 2024

German Film Manufacturer ORWO is working on the new film scheduled to be released sometime in 2024.
The information comes from Nico's Photography Show by Nico Llasera. His almost weekly news show is a great source of Film Photography news and we highly recommend you to subscribe to his channel for the latest film news updates.
In his latest episode he mentioned that at Photopia he spoke to Orwo's coating engineer who told him that they are working on the new film stock. It is called NC200 and it is 200 ISO C-41 Colour Negative film which will be available in 35mm and 120 formats.

Robert (the coating engineer) showed some examples of the photographs taken with the film and in Nico's opinion they looked "perfectly boring". Last year ORWO released their first Colour Negative films NC400 and NC500. They are both known for quite high grain and strong "nostalgic" colours. Having "perfectly boring" aka neutral aka close to true to life colours means that ORWO, who are well known for their black and white films, are advancing quite well in manufacturing the colour emulsions.
