Stuck in Film Community Showcase January 2024
We welcome 2024 with another great Community Showcase, presenting some of the best photography on film from You the Community.
This month we presenting 4 talented photographers who enjoy film photography as much as we do.
The first one up is Joaquin Gonzalez with his Canon A-1 and a 50mm f/1.8 lens. Such a lovely setup! And if you are a Canon user this and the F-1 are the cameras to consider! Here are some beautiful examples of Cinestill 400D and Kodak Gold 200 films. You can find Joaquin @joaco

The next one up is Floris Trapman with his Contax RTS & Zeiss Planar 50mm. His films stocks of choice is Kodak Pro Image 100 (such underrated film) and Portra 160 (the classic). The photographs speak for themselves with beautiful tones and holiday mood. We all need that in the cold winter months. For more summer vibes follow Floris @filmbyfloris

From European summer back to England we have Tom who uses his Leica M6 as well as bunch of Nikon cameras such as F3, FM3a and L35AF (another fairly inexpensive 35mm point shoot gem). Tom uses a variety of films from Kodak and Cinestill (hmm... kodak) to capture a wonderful atmosphere of London. Find Tom @grainyspace

Did someone say black & white? We got it! Allan and his monochrome body of work called "A Cheshire walk through autistic eyes" captures the moments of life through the eyes of the photographer and his state of mind. Allan uses Canon AE-1 with 50mm f/1.8 lens as well as Ilford HP5+ film which he develops himself as well as prints the photographs in the darkroom. You can follow Allan @craftycampersuk
